Long-distance move from Phoenix, AZ to Dallas, TX

Avoid them

I recently moved from Phoenix to Dallas and happened to use Lifetime movers as the company I went In contract with sold it to Lifetime movers. The crew that packed on the day of my move was awesome and very professional guys, but the driver who delivered was very rude and unprofessional, who left the work in the middle and left the thrash all over the home. He couldn't even assemble any furniture. We reached out to Lifetime movers and their response was to get back to me in 3 to 5 business days where I needed them yesterday with all my heavy furniture left everywhere un assembled, but I haven't received any response from them. I will not recommend Lifetime movers not because of the delivery guy, but for the management who has no intention of resolving the issue and don't even have a courtesy to check with the customer for the issue raised..

Long-distance move from Arizona to Washington

Fast and affordable.

Lifetime crew at pick up was fast and efficient. They wrapped all my furniture. They delivered my stuff fast (5 days) and all arrived in great condition. They even reassembled my bed. The communication with their office was great. They called me before the pick up, after the pick up for a survey and they called me again before delivery. They email me with the delivery driver information, so I can contact him directly and they even sent me a copy of my receipt before they delivered. It was great to know that my rate will not change. That is the scarriest part when you move. I will definitely use them again if I move. Will recommend to friends and family. .

Long-distance move from New River, AZ to Colorado Springs, CO

Horrible Service.

Our furniture was picked up March 25, 2019 in AZ and delivered to CO on April 9th. When delivered we had a broken 3’ 4” vase that was broken, our front door threshold was bent, a table was broken, the tops of our washer/dryer were scratched. Lifetime Moving was still here and driver saw the damages incurred, we filed a claim and sent pictures. This ordeal has been going on 4 To get this time consuming ordeal behind us we agreed to $200.00 for damages. We have been dealing with the Claims Processing Company on the east coast for 4 months, today is August 6 and we’re still waiting for the settlement. We were on the phone on holding for 35 minutes today and once again and nothing is resolved, they blame us for not signing a release form that we didn’t receive. It’s our fault according to them but they have not followed up and now we get it’s our fault. Lesson learned, and we recommend using a moving company that is more concerned about customer service and doing what’s right.

Long-distance move from Arizona to Virginia

Patrick Frank.

I do consider myself to be quite seasoned in this field of relocating. I remember the first few times I moved. Most of my things were broken! Finally, I have had it and hired lifetime moving & storage. They have been moving my belongings since then. These guys are just so professional. Their crew arrives always on the right time. Their men are very capable and skilled. Even my old furniture survives in their hands. They are cheap too!

Long-distance move from Phoenix, AZ to Memphis, TN

Terrible moving company - please avoid it.

Very nice to get you into their business.. but as soon as you sign in everything is terrible. They become extremely rude when you call to get updates. I signed to get the delivery within 7-day window and called multiple times to see where my furniture was. They delivered it the last minute on day 7. Movers told me that they had had my furniture for days in their truck and Lifetime did not inform them they needed to deliver it within the 7-day window until some hours before (they had to drive all night to get to TN. Multiple things were broken. I took 2 months to get the settlement. The company that drives their customer service (VIP) is the worst, terrible customer service and useless. Be smart and avoid this moving company for your own good.

Long-distance move from Peoria, AZ to Queensbury, NY

Best move ever!

I have never in my many years of moving from one place to another had such a great experience with a moving company. First Amanda won me over when I was looking for quotes. Her friendly professionalism and absolute dedication to Lifetime M & S made me feel like I would be working with a team not just a salesperson that talked big and left you hanging. We live in NY and were planning to move my father-in-law from AZ to NY. Our biggest concern was the number of very fragile items he owns and Amanda assured me that they would be handled properly. The other tricky part was that I wasn’t in AZ and had to obtain a quote based on my memory of his apartment.

Everything was in place for an April 20th move - plane reservations, transportation, movers - everything. Then the coronavirus pandemic changed everything. After postponing the move indefinitely, we made a sudden decision to fly out to AZ and bring him back a week before our original plans despite the lockdown. Amanda was great and managed to make the change, at which point I was put in Amy's very capable hands. I can't tell you how many conversations we had, but she was with me all the way from pickup to delivery. The packing team, Ralph, Victor, Brandon & Rafael, was amazing. They were given special permission by the senior care facility my father-in-law lived in to come in and move his possessions despite being in complete lockdown. They were very respectful of the need to minimize contact with others and wore masks. They lined boxes and wrapped furniture in the hall so neatly that one of the staff asked for business cards because they were so impressed with their work. All of my concerns were addressed and, again, I felt as if I was being taken care of by the whole Lifetime team. Victor took such care packing the really fragile pieces that I took a video to share with my husband who was very worried about them. I talked with Ralph a lot about the business's methods and mission and was so impressed by him and what he said that I'm still talking about the experience. Amanda texted me after I returned home to ask, not how the move went, but how my father-in-law did flying to NY as she knew he was very apprehensive and frightened about the whole event. If I hadn’t known it before, that alone would have told me I had made the right choice in movers. That is so above and beyond!

We had one little hiccup at delivery that was taken care of easily by Amy. Again, moving into a senior care facility, the delivery men were given special permission to move into the apartment, but everything had to be unwrapped and wiped down in the parking lot before going up. Unfortunately there had been a change on our part that complicated it even more. Instead of a one bedroom apt it was now a studio he was moving into and not everything moved was going to fit. I had not seen the apartment and was not allowed in but gave them a schematic depicting where I’d like the furniture placed. I knew it would be tight and wasn’t even sure it would fit. Another special touch, the lead deliveryman took a video showing me that my plan had worked. These two guys (I’m sad I don’t remember their names) never complained once about the inconvenience of unloading, unwrapping and separating everything. It could have been chaos, but their calm efficiency and willingness to help us out with the changes made it so easy. Having the ProMover Service took all the worry about whether or not the final payment would be as contracted. I’ve been stuck with extra charges many times. I love that option! Everything arrived and everything was in perfect condition. Some boxes have not been unpacked but with no visible damage or rattling, I trust that the contents are fine.

I could go on and on and I know that I missed many opportunities to sing the praises of Lifetime Moving & Storage, but I trust you get the picture. Thank you for taking all the stress out of a very stressful situation in an unusually stressful time!!

Lifetime Moving & Storage Review

Re: Move from Mesa, AZ to Eugene, OR

My Customer Review:

Disappointment. Frustration. Non-equitable compensation.

Broken items, they packed. Broken glass in driveway and hallway through which they delivered items. Embarrassing compensation for broken furniture, again, that they packed. Delivery date, meaningless. One or two days late. Understandable. Weeks upon weeks late. Not so much. And their remedy, “Get an air mattress!” I was told. I had nothing – all my belongings, from kitchen ware, to bedroom items, to furniture, to lamps, tables. Everything was being moved.

An heirloom secretary table, one leg just ripped off, as though a wolverine got to it. The glass top for that secretary, broken. A vintage stereo cabinet, the top was grossly dislodged. A file cabinet, again, a top, was broken. A large television set, packed with no plug. Lost. I have no head board for my bed. One of the posts was lost. Unable to assemble without that part. A clothes tree, lost. A drop-leaf table, corner support block broken off.

And other items were maltreated. A repair quote was submitted. What Lifetime settled on, is just plainly an embarrassment.
